  1.        Installing the Demo version of Cyrillic  
  2.   
  3. The Cyrillic 1.14 Demo Directory should contain the  
  4. following files:  
  5.   
  6. readme.txt  (This file)  
  7. cyrldemo.doc (Demo Guide in Word 6.0 format)  
  8. cyrldemo.txt (Demo Guide in plain text format)  
  9. cyrldemo.ps  (Demo Guide in PostScript format)  
  10. cy114dem.exe (Self Extracting Cyrillic Demo)  
  11.   
  12. 1. To install the software, first move the self 
  13. extracting demo file into an empty directory, 
  14. e.g. c:\cyrillic.  
  15.   
  16. 2. Select 'Run...' from the drop-down 'File' menu in  
  17. Program Manager under Windows.  
  18.   
  19. 3. Select the executable 'cy114dem.exe'  using the  
  20. 'Browse...' option else enter the equivalent text at the  
  21. Command Line, for example, 'c:\cyrillic\cy114dem.exe'.  
  22.   
  23. 4. Click OK. Cyrillic will now decompress into the 
  24. directory created in step 1.  
  25.   
  26. 5. Perform step 3 again, this time replacing the  
  27. executable 'cy114dem.exe' with 'Setup.exe'.  
  28.   
  29. 6. When prompted to enter a directory for full  
  30. installation or in accepting the default, make sure that  
  31. you have write permission to the chosen drive.  'Setup' 
  32. creates the program groups and icons required for 
  33. use with Windows.  It is advisable to enter the same 
  34. directory first created in step 1 in order  
  35. to avoid unnecessary duplication of files.

  37. 7. To run the demo, double click the Cyrillic icon in
  38. Program Manager.

  40. If you have a PostScript printer you can print a copy
  41. of the Demo Guide by entering at the DOS prompt:-

  43. print cyrldemo.ps lpt1:
  44.  
  45. Substitute the port to which your printer is connected
  46. for lpt1: if necessary. If your printer is not a
  47. PostScript one, you should use the plain text version.

  49. print cyrldemo.txt lpt1:
